We will be heading to China in 14 days. Please continue to pray for Emily as this is becoming more "real" everyday.
We sent a care package to Adam for his birthday! Adam turns 12 on Sept 9th. This will be his last birthday in China and with his friends from the orphanage, except Megan of course!

I'm so thankful these days of waiting will be coming to a close very soon. I can't even begin to describe how we felt our first time in China...what seems like is getting "real" was very "surreal" for the first week or so for us. A mixture of joy, excitement about the adventure of it all, intense sorrow for the child, overwhelming tiredness, and overwhelming confusion in being in different culture/country. I know you are prepared for a possible tough road...if it goes there, just remember He led you there and He won't leave you to handle it all without giving you what you need to make it through.
